Maria's father
This is Maria's father. One of very special fathers I have ever met. He is just so different in a nice way, almost like an angel sent to walk among people. He often speaks figuratively so you have to be sharp to understand him. A humble and a lovable guy.
My warmest greetings to Maria and her father.

Dave Benton
Dave Benton is what you may call Estonian miracle. We do not have many colored people here, I hope I am not wrong when saying maybe 50 altogether and that number may even be too big. Anyway he came to Estonia in the end of the 90's as he married his Estonian wife Maris. He was living before that in The Netherlands.
He has been active singing at concerts and private parties. He is mostly known by winning the 2001 Eurovision contest with fellow singer Tanel Padar, while he couldn't speak or understand Estonian at all. By now he can speak plentiful of I am sure. They say he can speak 8 languages.
I do not know him personally, but the little interaction I had he left a good impression on me. Some say he is arrogant about some things he has said out...well, who knows..

Rhino
Last years best photography exhibition experience for me was at RMK's (local forest management company) lobby, where I saw Kaupo Kikkas' exhibition called "Treescape". It was truly an experience, but while enjoying that I didn't dream of seeing a rhino as well. Unfortunately the rhino had passed at Tallinn Zoo in 2011 and they made a stuffed version of it. Which looked just amazing and so real, you wouldn't believe that it is not alive.

Doors vol. 1
Perhaps you remember my November post about Narva mnt. 89 dormitory? Well, I called it vol. 1, as I thought there will be others following, but not exactly. There will, but under different name. I apologize once again for another vol.-series, but I do not want to overwhelm you with so many same style photos at once, so I break it to many little parts, which together form a long series.
The doors of Narva mnt. 89 dorm. These are what I liked, thought are creative, crazy or just cool.

Vana Kaubamaja
I have been waiting to post this literally for a year, as these shots were taken on 13th of January in 2014.
This what you are seeing is history. That building called Vana Kaubamaja no longer exists.
The site of the new department store or mall has changed greatly. I will introduce you soon how it looks now, almost a year later.
I think people take many things, buildings included, often very granted, but everything that surrounds us has history and memories. But then again, why to keep tight to all when one day we will be history and memories, too...

Bad J
Bad J aka Raivo Pedanik, as it is written in his passport. He is another nice DJ I met while doing nightclub photography. He is, as the previous DJ Defkut, into R&B and urban-music. He is originally from Pärnu, but that you wouldn't know if you just know him a little :P By his skills and energy he is putting to his DJ-work you can tell that he has been doing that for some time, actually from 1992 already.
One thing I can tell about Bad J is that he is the greatest and the best poser for photos. The best shots were always of him. I have been using one portrait of him for years and years in my training presentations, so he is often on my mind. Anyway if you ever can choose a party you want to attend, then tr y to go to a one where Bad J is playing.
I have another, my favorite yet to introduce at one point, also an R&B DJ ;)

Northern lapwing
The northern lapwing (Vanellus vanellus), also known as the peewit or pewit (imitative of its cry), green plover (emphasising the colour of the plumage) or just lapwing (which refers to its peculiar, erratic way of flying), is a bird in the plover family. It is common through temperate Eurasia. It is highly migratory over most of its extensive range, wintering further south as far as north Africa, northern India, Pakistan, and parts of China. It migrates mainly by day, often in large flocks. Lowland breeders in westernmost areas of Europe are resident. (Source: wikipedia.org)
This is the best I have got so far of the Northern lapwing, as they are shy, as most of the birds or animals in the nature, so catching them on the fields, where they really like to wander around, is a good catch. Not this time though.

Annoying
These cute dogs are very annoying. The one on the right wants love, but the other is jealous. They bark at night. They howl when EMS cars are passing. They do not get love, they do not get to run, their pee and shit smells. Their life needs a change. Love and hate, right?
