Through glass

Some shots gathered in time, shot through glass, mostly car windows.

Soviet architecture

You really can find houses inspired by bold, robust and cold Soviet design, everywhere. Doesn't sound very good, but it is sure pleasing to eye. Or?

White Cedar trees

By photography these photos are not much, but small gnarled Eastern White Cedar trees (Thuja occidentalis) at the cliff edges and on the cliff faces have specimens up to 1000 years, the oldest in eastern North America. Small, gnarled and clinging to Niagara Escarpment cliff edges you can find Canada’s oldest trees, the Eastern White Cedars. These thin narrow trees, some up to 1000 years old can be found growing out of the rock. The harsh living conditions dwarf the trees and limit their growth and size. A tree with the circumference of a few centimeters could be hundreds of years old!

I think I have taken too few shots of these cute furry crawlers, but I think this is so far the best.

Ring-necked Duck

Seems that the Ring-necked duck is not the popular species, as there is not much about the bird online, particularly in Wikipedia. Interesting is that the male is called Drake :) The cinnamon neck ring is usually difficult to observe, unlike the white ring on its bill, which is why the bird is sometimes referred to as a "ringbill". Their breeding habitat is wooded lakes or ponds in the northern United States and Canada. They overwinter in southern North America, usually in lakes, ponds, rivers or bays. These birds feed mainly by diving. They eat aquatic plants as well as some molluscs, aquatic insects and small fish.

Elections

Ever since the beginning of this week elections have been going on in a great USA. They are about to finish, with someones grande finale and someones, well, grande loss....The effort and the money what has been put to those elections is mind-blowing, but seems very important at the time, as future depends on that, our choices frame the future. Whether it is small or large scale election it all rotates its usual pattern: meeting people, leaving your promo materials here and there, advertise yourself and most important - get those voices.

Have been waiting a moment for long time to be able to put up this series, with following photos below to show the outcome of the elections and the future, today seemed the right moment for that. Hope you enjoy.

When the elections is over, in a month everything seems to be the way it was before, but those colorful and very proud billboards find another life somewhere else...and were our choices correct after all?
