Perfect urban setting

I love architecture, but you never come across such a nice scene unless you are in Tallinn, the best valued destination in 2018 by Lonely Planet.
So come and check it out!

Oleg

I met Oleg during the animal foundation summer days, which was one of the best events in my life so far. Now it is all just a vivid memory. Oleg came from Tallinn with his foster dog and when he was feeding her, the other dogs knew, who their new friend was.

This concludes the series of the feet. For this time.

I guess a view you do not see so often - old movie theatre chairs and a new high-speed photography of a droplet on the wall.

New and old

Those, who have been in Tartu to Supilinn, probably have seen this view. How old houses looks so tiny next to a massive production building of A le Coq brewery.

Stripes rule

I am not sure how I took this photo of these guys, but I think I did pretty good. They are obviously up for no good, as they are drinking in public, which is not allowed in Estonia. An the looks of their faces and one most likely even noticing me capturing this frame...oh well.

Nelson's few steps

I have been taking photos of the homeless animals for years. One of the most memorable was this cute little kitten. When I took these shots, he didn't have a name, but soon enough came the 4th cat ant my friend's home and obtained a name Nelson. Each photo of these speaks a story, but when putting them together like this, tells a whole different story.

How many of such windows you can count?

Triinu, the vet

I photographed Triinu for a joint photography project, which included taking photos of animals. I visited her at her workplace, where she posed for me with her new dog, who she took from the shelter. She gave the animal a through check-up, pictured she is checking her pulse. Love the dramatic and sterile look of this photo.

These boots are made for walking vol. 1

I sorted my photos and noticed that I had collected in years many photos showing feet, so therefore here is a first series of the theme.

I mean, why do we take such photos? Does they make sense to anybody?

Maria

Two years ago, around the same time we met with Maria in Tartu. This time she had a baby in a stroller and it was around -20 C.

Can you feel the cold?

Stylish man from Helsinki

I used to do some street fashion....until I didn't anymore. Here is a nice sample from Helsinki. Nice guy, cool style, great photos.

Clothes doesn't matter, but you do!

Where's the white?

I can't imagine how does that feel to be in a dog show for a whole day or the whole weekend - I would be busted, too!

No longer

Somehow the photos this week have been all about fading, but again, 2017 jut faded into our memories, so that we have room to make some new ones.

Happy doing!

Moskvitch

My mother's eldest brother had a fancy almost navy blue Moskvitch. I was always very eager when he arrived to my grandparents' place - but look at that car now - time has taken its toll. No matter what, the car is still a beauty!

Calm vol. 176

I can't wait, when I can do that. I have been trying, but I can't wear out my shoes, so much that I have heart to do it!

Have you done it?

Hairdresser

What a beautiful old building in Tähtvere, Tartu. It used to be a hairdresser parlour, but has stumbled on time and no longer is open. The rooms look lovely - perfect spot for a book or a music store and even a little bakery.

Never stop dreaming.
