Maria was so excellent that she came to visit me during my volunteering. We did a West-Iceland roadtrip, which was really fun. I can remember some great  experiences and the fact that we used 16 cars during our little 3 day trip. Luckily she shared my love to malt drink. Yum!

There isn't much info about these two buildings in Licthenberg, though some online guides call this one of the 10 must's while in Berlin. This kind of happened without me trying really hard. I mean it is nice and all, but is it worth of being one of the most important landmarks in, Berlin? Hardly. This city has way more to offer.

So on this fine day, our host took us out to Lichtenberg to a huge Vietnamese market. Well, since it was my first car ride in Berlin and I haven't really had any pleasure of seeing the city, I took out my camera and captured just some quick shots of the East Berlin.

In December 2017 I landed in Berlin, Germany. One of the most unlikely places for me, where I would love to land. But life has its funny ways, right? Anyway this week's photos are from the times after changing four hosts and landing finally at a wonderful 5th host, and finally being able to see around a bit. I could just leave these photos to forward my impression of Berlin, as this is exactly how the city aligned with me. Not much. But when you don't like something or even hate, life has its ways of showing you also love. So this is written between the lines. All was not bad, but still..pretty much it was.
