Vabadussild - Freedom Bridge
The newest bridge in Tartu, shiny and modern since 2009. Bridge is nice, but under the bridge is even nicer, but about that some other time, just...
..in addition from stencibility.blogspot.com:
Under the freedom bridge there is a nice collection of stencil art. This place is one of the most quickly evolving street art spots in Tartu. There is also some stuff on the other side of the river.

Cedar Waxwing
These birds' most prominent feature is a small cluster of bright red feathers on the wings, a feature they share with the Bohemian Waxwing. The tail is typically yellow or orange depending on diet. Birds that have fed on berries of introduced Eurasian honeysuckles while growing tail feathers will have darker orange-tipped tail-feathers. Adults have a pale yellow belly. Immature birds are streaked on the throat and flanks, and often do not have the black mask of the adults.
During courtship the male and female will sit together and pass small objects back and forth, such as flower petals or an insect. Mating pairs will sometimes rub their beaks together affectionately.
The flight of waxwings is strong and direct, and the movement of the flock in flight resembles that of a flock of small pale European Starlings. (Source wikipedia.org)

Accidential 911
I haven't ever seen a flying toy which has a parachute hanging loose behind while flying. Well, the truth is that it wasn't a toy, but a baby bird who had caught by a plastic bag and when flying it stopped the bird getting the speed she wanted. Thank god not in a far distance it fell down and stayed down, so I ran with my friend to help her out. We covered the bird with scarf to prevent it taking off without helping her. She was a peaceful bird, who was flying plastic bag handle under her feathers, which stopped her flying at the normal speed. I was able to get this stupidity off of her and she was released. She thanked us while flying above us and doing crazy air show while leaving the location.
Plastic bag is hanging in my room.
Okay you smart person tell me what kind of bird you think it was?

For a Nordic individual, as I am seeing those furry creatures flying all over the beautiful city of Barcelona, made me admire them a lot. We never see anything like that in cold Estonia. Only in the cages of zoo shops...

Cycling
Just by accident, I found these photos which will characterize perfectly the story I am about to write. It is about cycling. For years I have been trying to figure out, why Estonians can't greet themselves friendly on the road, while passing each other on the opposite direction. The case is not, that they both are so involved with their cycling, so they do not notice anything. Wrong, as when you cycle, you notice everything, especially if something moving towards your direction. Oh and they stare, maybe the clothes I am wearing, the bike I am cycling or checking me out as another wannabe on the road OR sometimes they try SO HARD not to notice me, so they look to the distance...Anyway I think it would be just nice and polite to wave, smile or say "Hi!". If I do any of this, their mouths drop wide open and I can see this idiotic surprise look on their face, as they are confused - "Why? Who? I do not know that person, why she said hi to me?!?!?!" Very amusing, but looks very stupid. I always greet, smile or wave, as I think it is polite and gives boost to continue the ride. From hundreds of people I have seen while training, only 2 in years have been faster than me to greet me. Wow.
What is wrong with people not do so, even not to understand the point of such behavior? Is another Estonian still the best meal an Estonian can have?

When the things start to change? Wasn't it suppose to start from the littlest things?.....
