This winter has been exciting as last year's, because it has been snowing, raining and storming. What is interesting that it can change in a blink of an eye, like most of the things in life. Three days between and the change is visible. From ice covered scene after few days everything has melted away and covered with fresh soft snow.

Now people are waiting for the spring.
A change will come.

Tartu Cathedral

Tartu Cathedral (Estonian: Tartu toomkirik), earlier also known as Dorpat Cathedral is one of the landmarks of the Estonian city of Tartu (Dorpat). The building is now an imposing ruin overlooking the lower town. In the small part of it that has been renovated is now located the museum of the University of Tartu, which the university also uses for major receptions.

What I would like to point out in this post, as if you click on the link above, then you'd see photos taken during the daytime only, but in low-light the ruins really become alive. IMHO. At least Toome Hill is :P

Italian movie

I wanted to point out this movie from where this screenshot has been taken, but I couldn't remember the title....but anyway which was the last/the latest Italian movie you saw and how it was? Because of Federico Fellini there is a lot to expect.

Originally I had a plan to present today photos which present straight down shooting angle and next Sunday straight up shooting angle, but for my surprise I found out that I have only few photos I have been taking while pointing my lens straight up. I know I have done it more often than that, but maybe I have already uploaded majority of us.
If you look straight down some things may seem ugly, but some may seem even prettier and more interesting, another great possibility to portray something differently than it usually is.


No smoking, McDonalds and money. Life is wonderful.

Varjupaika on sattunud väga palju uusi ja toredaid koeri.

Viimasel teisipäeval saatsid Druźok ja Cosette mind kenasti ära, aga tegelikult tahaks nad olla oma kodus.

Vahepeal on õnneks DOMUS ja WOLFF leidnud endale kodu, Wolff küll kahjuks mitte seda õiget, aga Varjupaigast välja ta igatahes sai ja valvab nüüd kusagil midagi...

Samuti otsivad endiselt kodu Laane, Lusja ja Tiitus.

Blades, reeds and other such

I think I have said that I like four seasons and because of the many faces of the nature. Spring, summer, fall and winter are so different. Awakening, blooming, fading and death. If to look at things in nature more detail, you get the bigger and I must say, a better picture. Moreover if to use wide aperture.

It finally feels like time for cycling.

Human and space

I had a post not so long ago, about human and environment and in the end of that post I said, "hopefully more to come in the future" - so here I am again, back with my self-made room/space/environment. I like that the environment sometimes chooses us and we become as one with it, like we fit there and also that no matter to the surroundings a person still matters the most.
Think about that.

The photos could also be four seasons, starting with summer, following spring etc.

I am going to say this only once......

Here are few shots I have saved which in total or a little portray a car. There are not many shots, yet I like that they are all so different. I should definitely turn more attention to wheels, so there once will be another similar post, so let's see what I have caught.

Though I like driving, mostly because of the option to create a route map in my head and loud music while driving, but cycling is better. Spring is on its way! When you're reading this, it is on :)
