Koit Toome
Koit Toome has been in entertainment industry already for 20 years. I first heard him singing when he was part of Code One with another singer. This duo was a bomb!
He has also been representing Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest and doing good while participating in the Dances with the Stars.
Koit has been very busy while playing roles of many musicals, which I have had a chance to see as well. On these days he is busy with Phantom of the Opera musical.
I have met him few times in various events, but the most memorable was when we drank some Jägermeister in old Vanemuine while me and my friend Maria we went for a theater play in there. There have been some wild times and that event was definitely one of them. But it as very cool that Koit took it easy and had some fun with us :)

Long-tailed ducks
Long-tailed duck family having fun in Lake Ontario.
This is a vulnerable species of sea ducks.
Have been having fun taking photos of them, as they are relatively friendly and look good on a blue-gray water. Expect more photos of them to appear on this blog.

Ewert Sundja
Ewer Sundja is the leader of an Estonian pop-rock band called Ewert and the Two Dragons. I have met him twice and both times in Toronto. They are very popular among the small Estonian community there.
He is a nice and witty person, great with fans and has a great patience while taking photos with fans, while standing and smiling :) Their music is great, I really recommend their second album "Good man down". That CD reminds me of packing to come home to Estonia after spending a year in Canada, mostly in Toronto.
Keep an eye on Ewert, as I think there is lots of great music to come by him.

Take off
This is Narva-Jõesuu. The beach there looks nothing like exciting sandy and calm place to be after all this debris, mud and roots lay around EVERYWHERE you go. It happens every now and then when they explode the natural formation that blocks the river. After that it looks terrible.
Young seagull at least added something to the photos.

Doors vol. 5
The first door says a lot about the person who is living there, perhaps an IT-student? ;)
The medium door may reveal that the person is about stealing street signs :D
The last door, yeah, a computer geek and very creative person.
More to come...

Calm vol. 27
Imagine that this scene is waiting for you when you have arrived in front of your home. All day, every day! There is a home like that in Toronto. I do not know anything about the background of its owner, but I want to think and I hope all these toys were found in garbage or left out at the pavement for people to give them a new home. So this person started to decorate his fence, yard and house with all those toys. Anyway, this is a fragment, but the whole picture is four times as this in amount of toys.

Cranes as a landscape
I saw a documentary yesterday called "American Made Movie". It was a nice movie about what has happened in the USA due to a globalization. The best example of that in the States is of course Detroit, MI. My short, yet very memorable, visit there was more than enough got my heart full of grace for all the abandoned factories, stores, homes etc. This place is photographic goldmine. By now too seen, too been-here-done-that. But a little glimpse is exactly what we need. Perhaps to be grateful for what we have.

Blacksmith
I do not know this person personally, but he seemed interested in what I was doing and I was interested taking photos of what he was doing. How could such smirk not be friendly and inviting?
I always think highly of blacksmiths, as they do such a hard, detailed and dirty, yet delicate job. Creative people.

Erki Pruul
I think I met Erkki first in some event in Tallinn. It was just a casual. Then I saw him more and more and in Tartu too. He was running this great store in Tallinn called Motel Paradise, which no longer exists, but he opened it in Tartu as well, where it also shut down in 2010. I purchased some great goodies by Nikita from him when the stuff was on sale. He gave me a good deal. He is a busy person doing all sorts of interesting things, as DJ-ing, organizing events and PR.
He is one of those people I tend to see whenever or wherever I am. Just randomly. We say hi.
