The other day I saw a movie called "Alex Cross", which was taking place in Motor City. I have had the honor to visit it just once and during that time it seemed like a ghost town to me (then again I think I visited it on Sunday), nothing like in the movie. This was one of the first shots I took while about to enter the city, which I think portrays pretty well the feeling you get when you visit the city.

The second photo is nothing to be proud of by the technical side, but I wanted to zoom in to show how wonderful is the golden hour light and how "furry" a little field plant can be. Nature's wonder's.

art + fusion

 

 

 I used flash after some time, the best shot is this:

I was happy to do some photography volunteering at amazing art + fusion in Toronto. I enjoyed the mixed crowd, artists and possibility to create wonderful candid photos. No posing whatsoever happened, what a joy! I experimented with long shutter speeds and liked very harsh lights.I am very pleased with my Canon lenses which work the best under low-light conditions.

Ajowa Naturals

On Saturday I had a pleasure to shoot for Ajowa Naturals and do some design for them. This presented here is far from good, but it is a start and soon as the new labels are ready there will be better photos available.

Reflections

These are few random reflections I have shot in Canada. Glass seems to be the best material for such shots, though mirror is also fun, but glass is offering more layers, which is great visually.

Party at the shop

Miracles what little Christmas lights can do. They fit perfectly with tools.

Model

Such models are offered in huge photo expos for all the visitors to shoot. The idea was to introduce the background if I am not mistaken.

Hawk vs seagull

I went to shoot with my friend to an artificial piece of land, which human has created some 35 years ago. It was like nature, I call it nature. Sunny day with lots of birds and out of blue things happening, like the above three shots of a seagull chasing a hawk. Last was sitting peacefully for some time in the ice covering the pond when all of a sudden huge seagull approached it, so it knew it had to take off, so it did and a seagull flying behind it. As you can see by the photos seagull was very furious screaming like a crazy....bird. Hawk made it safely, but who knows who didn't do so safe...

Some people are very creative, as this is how you can change the mundane residential area to something eye-catching. Pretty lasting also, considering the lifetime of plastic. I was very glad to see so many Disney's characters. Please note that the area is supervised by security camera.

Magnet

I do not use gels to color the background often, but I have tried few times, so this time red and blue as magnet colors :)

Pilates Helga

Today I shot few product shots for pilates trainer Helga, so she can present the different colored scarves on her website for one particular company. Don't mind the background, as she will be cut off from it anyway, but even like that the shots looks pretty good.
