As you can see the police have surrounded a group of young men, who were violent with their words. The marchers were civil and all was handled really well. But I guess this always happens.

The overall mood was very happy and festive, nothing vulgar or very extraordinary. Peaceful march, as advertised :)

Four years ago this time I was in Sofia, Bulgaria and it just happened that Sofia Pride took place. Wow, what a great surprise, as I was able to take photos there. Here are some of the best shots from that reportage.
Sofia Pride Parade is a peaceful march of LGBT people and their relatives and friends, which combines social and political protest with entertainment such as live concerts. It takes place every year in the month of June in Bulgaria's capital Sofia since 2008.
