Maarjamäe Memorial and the extension by the Baltic Sea
Maarjamäe Memorial (designed by architect A. Murdmaa and sculptor M. Varik) stands on Pirita Road between the Lasnamäe plateau and Tallinn Bay. It was erected to those who had fallen defending the Soviet Union.
The memorial is made up of both architectural and landscaping elements. At its centre stands a 35-metre obelisk, but the ensemble also includes the graves of the crews of the Avtroil and Spartak minesweepers, dolomite-lined walls, grass-covered slopes, the pathways between them and a bronze sculpture of a flock of birds.

Kadriorg Palace
Kadriorg Palace is a Petrine Baroque palace built for Catherine I of Russia by Peter the Great in Tallinn, Estonia. Both the Estonian and the German name for the palace means "Catherine's valley". It was built after the Great Northern War for Nicola Michetti's designs by Gaetano Chiaveri and Mikhail Zemtsov.
The building itself is gorgeous, but you have to see the garden behind it, which is the main beauty in my opinion.

Let us in
This is how popular song and dance festivals are in Estonia - tickets are sold out and this is the only way of having some kind of glimpse of the whole festival, though you can't see dancing whatsoever like this, as you need to be waaaay closer. Anyway, creative children.

Beautiful finds of Pärnu
If you ever coming to Estonia and are into architecture, then I suggest you to also visit beach town Pärnu, as it has an incredible variety of different styles of architecture from middle ages to the very modern urban buildings. I myself love more this kind of architecture pictured here. Pärnu never stops surprising.
