Calm vol. 139
Ale-8-One, known colloquially as Ale-8, is a regional ginger and citrus flavored soft drink, distributed primarily to brick and mortar retailers in Kentucky. It is bottled by the Ale-8-One Bottling Company, a family-owned enterprise in the small town of Winchester, Kentucky, near Lexington, where the beverage is especially popular. Ale-8 could be described as a ginger pop with a "kick". It is a ginger and citrus blend, containing less carbonation, and fewer calories than conventional soda.
I got to know Ale-8-One when I was in Kentucky visiting my friends. Ginger ale was a new flavour for me, which I really grew to like. They were so kind that they even send me few bottles via mail. Here is the last of the bottle I had a chance to enjoy many years ago. On these days I am not a big soda drinker anyway.

Welcome to Annelinn
Annelinn (Estonian for "Anne Town") is a neighbourhood of Tartu, Estonia, located on the left bank of Emajõgi River. It has a population of 27,755 (as of 31 December 2013), which makes 27,34% of the whole city. With an area of 5.40 km2 (2.08 sq mi). It is also the largest. Annelinn mainly consists of 5 and 9-storey Soviet apartment buildings. The project was made between 1969–1973 by Mart Port and Maie Meelak from "Eesti Projekt". It was originally planned to consist of four microdistricts but only two were finished. Annelinn is planned with the shape of amphitheater with ascending relief, and an imaginary centre located on the watermeadow of the Emajõgi River.
Other than that information that Wikipedia shared with us, this is also my home. I have wandered the many streets and yards of the neighborhood with my camera and without. Probably it would be dull for many, but if your look deeper, there is always interesting stuff to be found.

Fred Jüssi
The coolest nature man in Estonia!
Jüssi was born in Aruba, Netherlands Antilles, where his father worked for a Venezuelan oil company. His family returned to Estonia and settled in Tallinn when Jüssi was 3 years old. After finishing high school in Tallinn he studied biology and zoology in Tartu University, graduating in 1958. He has worked as a school teacher (from 1958 to 1960 in Emmaste, Hiiumaa), as inspector for nature protection (1962–1975), radio broadcaster for Eesti Raadio, freelance writer and nature campaigner. In Eesti Raadio he ran the program Looduse aabits (ABC book of nature) from 1976 to 1986.[3] In the beginning of the 1990s he was for a few years the president of Estonian Nature Fund. Jüssi has published numerous books, articles and audio recordings related to nature. He was the first recipient of Eerik Kumari Award, given to him in 1989.
Jüssi is probably the most influential person in Estonia engaged in writing, talking and popularising nature.
