Jack-dew on a take-off
I was taking photos of a beautiful formation of frozen ice flowers on my window, when a jack-dew caught my attention. I took few shots of it, before a take-off. Isn't that cute. Look at the tiny feet! Besides that I love the round glitter circles on the foreground.

Church bells
Church is not the most important place for Estonians, those to whom it marks something special are in descending. The churches here are so beautiful and interesting, as this one in Otepää for example. I haven't been in to this one, but many others and it is, I assure you an experience. Maybe this time of a year you have a chance to step into one.

Calm vol. 71
I was tiding up my little storage room and I found a box of assorted candies. One, this one, was left in the box. Maple leaf has always meant a lot to me, because of the childhood memories of my aunt's visit there. I had saved that candy. For what? I didn't know that time when taking this photo, that I will land in the land of my childhood dreams in just half of a year.

Opening of a grocery store
I have been meaning to post this for ages. Here it is.
I have never been to an opening of a grocery store. I managed to take part in such even few years ago, when a Finnish chain Prisma, which is a huge grocery store, opened its second store in Tartu.
People were coming from all different directions.
Many actually even lined up nicely, which is not very Estonian-like.
A guy found a moment to show victory sign, as he was the first by the door and therefore felt really special.
Bananas were on sale and that created a fuzz.
The best variety of merchandise in town.

Larry Fink
This is Larry Fink, born on 1941. Lives in Pennsylvania and is a very cool photographer. I really admire his style and I liked it so much that I wrote to him and he greeted me at his home. This is where this photo have been taken. I mean wow! WOW! I noticed the devil horns on his head a little later.I mean, this is excellent! He is no devil, but a very kind and warm person.
This is the last photo from my USA series, taken six years ago. Thanks for bearing with me!

Copy center
I am pretty sure that few of these shots have already been published in my blog before. Well, I just wanted to have one full post about a lovely copy center, which I visited in Philadelphia. They had a printing show. It meant that they had done some huge prints and put these up in their shop. Drinks and snacks were provided. Pretty cool, a neighborhood gathering.
