I met Oleg during the animal foundation summer days, which was one of the best events in my life so far. Now it is all just a vivid memory. Oleg came from Tallinn with his foster dog and when he was feeding her, the other dogs knew, who their new friend was.

Stripes rule

I am not sure how I took this photo of these guys, but I think I did pretty good. They are obviously up for no good, as they are drinking in public, which is not allowed in Estonia. An the looks of their faces and one most likely even noticing me capturing this frame...oh well.

Nelson's few steps

I have been taking photos of the homeless animals for years. One of the most memorable was this cute little kitten. When I took these shots, he didn't have a name, but soon enough came the 4th cat ant my friend's home and obtained a name Nelson. Each photo of these speaks a story, but when putting them together like this, tells a whole different story.

Triinu, the vet

I photographed Triinu for a joint photography project, which included taking photos of animals. I visited her at her workplace, where she posed for me with her new dog, who she took from the shelter. She gave the animal a through check-up, pictured she is checking her pulse. Love the dramatic and sterile look of this photo.

I can't imagine how does that feel to be in a dog show for a whole day or the whole weekend - I would be busted, too!

Somehow the photos this week have been all about fading, but again, 2017 jut faded into our memories, so that we have room to make some new ones.

Moskvitch

My mother's eldest brother had a fancy almost navy blue Moskvitch. I was always very eager when he arrived to my grandparents' place - but look at that car now - time has taken its toll. No matter what, the car is still a beauty!

Hairdresser

What a beautiful old building in Tähtvere, Tartu. It used to be a hairdresser parlour, but has stumbled on time and no longer is open. The rooms look lovely - perfect spot for a book or a music store and even a little bakery.

Never stop dreaming.
