As in last week the photos were dedicated to celebrate the snow, which we didn't have, then this week will be the same, as we got snow in abundance and my dream of white Christmas came true!

Fireworks

Christmas is not the time for fireworks, but still many people blow them up and create lots of noise. Please wait for a week and then when it is the 31st knock yourself out.

Gingerbreads

This week will be dedicated to Christmas and winter, which again this year we seem to lack in Estonia. Hopefully that helps to create some good feeling and maybe real snow will start falling.

Bachelor party guy

You gotta excuse not very sharp eye of this guy, as this was the first shot with a f/1.4 lens.

Anyway this guy was taken to me by his friends, and a photo session with me was part of his Bachelor party. So I took photos of him, mostly alone and not showing ANY private parts. The guy was really nice, a bit tipsy, but did good modelling.

DJ Defkut

I met DJ Defkut while taking photos at Illusion nightclub. He was the happiest DJ I have ever met. I mean look at the smile and how he tries not to smile, but he should not try to hide that, as that what he is the most famous r&b DJ in Finland. He is mixing crazy wild, but his songs are too short for my liking. 

He is originally from France, but left to Finland (I wonder how he can take the cold), where he made the r&b scene alive again. 

He is a fun a cool guy, a great character.

If you ever get a chance to go to the dome which shows you starry sky and other interesting things as zodiac signs etc, please take the experience. Every town with 100 000 inhabitants should have one, as in Tartu we do have one.

Rolf Roosalu

Rolf Roosalu, also known as Rolf Junior, who was born in Tartu, by the way, is an Estonian singer who has participated in a number of musicals. He has also, yet unsuccessfully, competed to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest six times. Estonians know him mostly due to his song about an angel. "Mu ingel Sa...." ;)

I haven't had a personal connection with him, but he seems reserved and pleasant. He can definitely sing and act, as I have seen few times myself.

Last glimpse to New York City

3.12.2009 apartment, Upper East Side, New York City

My US trip is coming to an end, last time in New York before heading home in a few days. Winter has arrived, so it is crisp, but still sunny and you know feels like a New York in any other day. View from Upper East Side is something new for me, definitely an experience.
