Surprise for Maria
Just recently we were talking about the hitch-hiking trip with Maria in Iceland, which was so far the best hitch-hiking I have ever had. Maria thought that the highlight was how we warmed up the canned foods at the hot spot. Brushing teeth was easy, as there was plenty of hot water to soak your mouth.
Oh Iceland, thinking of you.

Rock of Gannets
This is pretty common sight at the coast of Iceland, especially in the North-east, at Langanes peninsula and shows you how friendly Gannets are while engrossing the whole rock. The photos doesn't give the feeling, but you will get more or less the idea of the scene.

Death
I am not wrong when I title my post like that while presenting abandoned houses, because most likely they are to die, as they will not get life in them anymore. All over US and Canada small villages are becoming empty, as older generations pass and cities are attracting more people.
Here are some examples of abandoned houses in province of Quebec. They have been left to die.

Saue Manor
Saue has long been famous throughout the Baltic States as home to one of the region’s most beautiful and valuable estates. Saue manor was established by Baron Friedrich Herman von Fersen, who named it Friedrichshof in 1786. A perfect example of 18th century design can be seen in the manor’s mantle chimney kitchen, which is one of the few in the country still in working order.
