Valdur Mikita

I must say honestly, that before last year, when everybody started talking about his book "Lingvistiline mets", I didn't know nothing about him. I had to be on a line to get this book from the library more than a year. What a popular guy! Anyway when I got the book, soon after I almost meet him :D Hahahaa, yeah I was so ready to step up and say great words about his book, but during a literature festival "Prima Vista" he was such a popular guy (of course!) that there was no chance to step to him and pour my heart out!

Nymphalis antiopa

Nymphalis antiopa, known as the Mourning Cloak in North America and the Camberwell Beauty in Britain, is a large butterfly native to Eurasia and North America. The immature form of this species is sometimes known as the spiny elm caterpillar. Other older names for this species include Grand Surprise and White Petticoat. A powerful flier, this species is sometimes found in areas far from its usual range during migration. These butterflies have a life-span of 11 to 12 months, one of the most extensive life-spans for any butterfly. It is also the State Insect of Montana, adopted in 2001.

Foreign Ministry large hall aka „kilukarbisaal“

I think I have posted previously photos of the large hall of the Foreign Ministry in Tallinn. I had a little set left, so I am posting it now. Showing the infamous tin can ceiling, its soviet design and the little world put up there for the architectural biennial.
