Tauno Kangro

Tauno Kangro is a well-known Estonian sculptor. I have talked to him just briefly, but he is a very pleasant guy as far as I know. He has done many important works and I believe he is a celebrity sculptor. He resides in Tallinn, where he also has his studio, but recently it said in the news that his granite house a very extraordinary structure has been put to sale due to his debt.

Check his works HERE.

Lennart and Vladimir

Tartu is a small, but in a way very liberal town. Liberal for its acceptance of graffiti in this case. We had just in the end if April a wonderful street art festival "Stencibility" and few public spaces were given for participating artists to cover the empty walls with their creativity. I have seen few great huge walls here and now, but perhaps the most intriguing was the Sõpruse bridge double graffiti. It was so original, that it was covered soon with the current design you can see on my photo. That wasn't the end of it, as the saga went on. You can see the full development from the original to what it is now HERE
