Does this photo matter? vol.2

This photo would make some sense, but only if you know the background.
These cakes are called Aleksandrikook, cake of Alexander. These were first made in Finland in 1814, when the emperor Alexander the 1st visited Helsinki. It is basically two sheets of nice buttery layers, which has jam between them. On top there is powdered sugar glaze.
I bought these from a store, which went out of business and they were selling the original Aleksandri cakes. I just wanted to capture the essence of these cakes in the simple form.
